Football.
Pure and simple. Nothing other than family can make my pleasure senses heighten more than football. The tribalistic elements of it really speak to me. It gives me pride when my team is doing well (and the schadenfreude perks me up when a rival falters).
And sometimes a team plays football in a way that just makes me smile. It has nothing to do with who is playing, but if the technique, skill and artistry are on show, then it makes me beam.
Barcelona's performance in the Champions League Final was one such occasion and even though i was hoping for a Catalan victory, the biggest pleasure was in the style of play that won the day. It was breathtaking.
